Ob's von mir - abseits des Remix Contests - auch einen Mix geben wird, hängt davon ab, wie der Contest ausgeht, bzw. ob dann auch eine Single VÖ gibt ... das wird dann mit ARC Records besprochen.

Möchte nicht auf die Schnelle irgendwas machen, wo ich dann nicht weiß, was damit passsiert ...

Prinzipiell denk ich aber so darüber: Wir haben den Contest nicht gemacht, damit wir mehr Homepage-Zugriffe haben, oder dass über uns geredet wird ... sondern weil wir im Sinne des Forums (bzw. der Hobby-Produzenten) mal jenen eine Chance geben wollen, die sehr engargiert und talentiert sind, und die sich mal eine Remix-Veröffentlichung verdient hätten.

Wenns zu einer Single kommt, und wir 2 oder 3 sehr gute Remixe haben, dann bin ich auch stark dafür, dass mehrere Mixe auf der Vinyl raufkommen, nicht nur einer. Daher weiche ich auch gerne zur Seite, wenns sein muss, bin ja auch dafür dass jeder mal ne Chance verdient.

Um die Single zu pushen, bräuchte man ohnehin einen Star-Remixer, wie angesprochen Lance Inc. usw. da würde ein Remix von mir eh nicht viel helfen.

Außerdem schätz ich mal sehr stark, dass ARC Records interessiert ist, auch eigene DJs zu pushen (DJ The Bass usw.), sprich dass sie selbst noch einen Remix machen, wenns zu ner Single kommt.

Sollte wirklich der unwahrscheinliche Fall eintreten, dass wir nur einen brauchbaren Mix vom Contest bekommen, dann kanns durchaus sein, dass ich nen Mix mache, aber das sind Spekulationen.

Aber da warten wir mal ab, bis die Remixe eintreffen.

Die Vorlage ist ja sehr gut, da kann man eigenlich gar nichts falsch machen ;)

Zur Frage von [D4v3][R4v3] "was nehmt ihr denn durschnittlich bei diesen lizenzen ein?!"

Gegenfrage: Wer gewinnt das Champions-Leaque Finale 2005?

Das kann man erst sagen, wenn das Match vorbei ist.

Wie hoch die Lizenzeinnahmen sind, hängt von verschiedenen Faktoren ab: Verkaufszahl, PPD (Verkaufspreis), wieviel Tracks auf der Kopplung sind, Royalties (Prozente), Deductions (Abzüge), Reserves (Rücklagen), Steuern usw ...

Würd aber nicht raten, am Remix Contest des Geldes wegen teilzunehmen .. reich wird man mit einer 20% Beteiligung eines Remixes für eine Compilation logischerweise nicht, aber ein kleines zusätzliches Taschengeld wirds schon werden.

Ist aber ein netter Zug, dass ARC Records was abgibt, normalerweise ist das bei Remix-Contests nicht üblich.

Wie schon gepostet, ca. Mitte August. Hab den Plattenfirma Chef leider nicht erreicht weil er auf Ibiza ist, aber sobald's ne entgültige Deadline gibt, wird es natürlich bekanntgeben.

In der Regel dauerts aber eh meiste ein wenig länger, da viele Einsendungen erst am Schluss reinkommen.

Aber 5 Wochen sollten lange genug sein, um einen Remix zu machen.

I'm from Denmark...

I actually didn't get a word of the forum post, only that it was about a remix...!

I would really like to join!

The clock is about 05:30 in the morning, and i haven't sleept because i have had worked on the remix...!

I don't know how many people who's involved in this contest... But I'm really looking foward to see some results...

Ehm... I've made a kinda Italo Dance with a little trancy sound...

Ohh... I aint even tired, just bored...!

But to Indurro: I have heard your music on your site... And it REALLY rocks...!

It have a lot of potential, which i really like.

I can only say the thing to C.Y.T., but I haven't heard so much from you...? It's a shame... But I think you to get some GREAT chances in the future...! You really deserve it...!

Of course you can upload a short preview of your remix (about 1 minute, not the best quality), but it would be better if you can send your remix as mp3 to CYT or me, than we can arrange the different previews and upload all remixes (that would better for the organisation and the jury).

I dont think that it will be usefull, if we offer the hole arrangement (structur) and all fx-effects, drums and so on ... Then it woun't be a remix-contest, just a "copying" of the original track on your own computer.

But try searching in the internet, you will find a lot of fx-effects, samples and so on. (Look if they are royalty free, not that you get into troubles.)

I ment that i just needed to build the track up, so it sounds good...

And I just need to put some FX on it... I have lots of refills to reason, and that includes MANY swishes, swashes and BANGS

I've started on a "harder" version of the remix... cause i thought the other one were to "happy" So now it's only 02:40 in the morning...

And now I have build my second remix up..

I just need to, you know, put a little extra on it, so it sounds perfect!

By the way Indurro: You had one word spelled correct "Hilsen" and Austria is "Østrig" or "Östrig"

I'm actually in Austria every winter, in Landeck (After)Skiing

But if someone wants a piece of my remix , then contact me on Koerlingoparation@hotmail.com , (that's also my msn)

I know the meaning of "hilsen", but not the short words like (from, of an so on), therefore i wrote "af" because i found it in the translation book.

My sentence should mean "greetings from austria", maybe you've understood ;)

But your translation also is not correct:

The translation from german do english would be: "i am bad and closed with the door", that means nothing...

Indurro: I don't work with Fruity Loops...! I DID..

I'm working with Propellerheads Reason 2.5 and Adobe Audition 1.5..!

I think we easiely can misunderstand each other, when we dont understand each others language....!

But the thing I was trying to say, was that i have all the FX i need on my PC, I just need to drop them on the track, and spice it up a little...
