Hello folks! The message from Gigi didn't go unnoticed by me and I had a lot to think about it. I have a nagging need to do something... something that's sustainable - something that lasts, something that Gigi would like too. Then I got an idea... ...an ebay charity event! Do something good for the world with Gigi stuff... I can well imagine that the Gigi would like that 🙂. I could even write to eBay about this, maybe they will even support us! When I saw the picture of Gigi, my idol from my youth, I realized how short and fragile life can be and how ridiculous it is at this moment to cling to money and "luxuriancy". I've always traded well with Gigi CDs - although I never got rich, it at least helped me financially to get my passion for collecting 😉 . But let's leave the financial side for now for more important things in life... which is life itself! our planet. Our fellow human beings and all the living beings who are threatened (by us) at the moment - we can do it differently, for sure! And Gigi is also such an optimist who has always believed in the good (in us) and hopefully still does. I sincerely hope that he makes it, that he recovers, that he can enjoy life again like most of us do. However this story ends, we can do our part to make the world a little bit better with the name "Gigi D'Agostino". For my part, I would use an original sealed Gin Lemon EP CD and (also originally sealed) Hollywood Vinyl commit to it, maybe even more! Hallo Leute! Die Nachricht von Gigi ging nicht spurlos an mir vorbei und hab dabei einiges zum Nachdenken gehabt. In mir schlummert das Bedürfnis, etwas zu unternehmen... irgendetwas, was nachhaltig ist - etwas, was Bestand hat, die auch Gigi gefallen würde. Da kam mir eine Idee... ...eine eBay-Charity-Veranstaltung! eBay bietet u.a. die Möglichkeit, dass ein Verkaufserlös teilweise oder ZUR GÄNZE einer wohltätigen Organisation zugute kommt. siehe hier: https://pages.ebay.de/charity/personen-und-unternehmen/ Und da dachte ich mir "ja, das passt!". Mit Gigi-Sachen etwas gutes für die Welt bewirken... ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass das dem Maestro gefallen würde 🙂 Ich könnte sogar eBay diesbezüglich anschreiben, vielleicht unterstützen sie uns sogar! Als ich das Bild von Gigi sah, meinem Idol aus meiner Jugend, wurde mir bewusst, wie kurz und zerbrechlich das Leben doch sein kann und wie lächerlich es in diesem Moment doch eigentlich sei, an Geld und "Reichtum" zu klammern. Ich habe mit Gigi CDs immer gut gehandelt - wurde zwar nie reich, aber es half mir zumindest meine Sammel-Leidenschaft pekuniär unter die Arme zu greifen 😉 . Aber lassen wir das finanzielle erstmal beiseite für wichtigere Dinge im Leben... nämlich das Leben selbst! Unserem Planeten. Unseren Mitmenschen und all den Lebewesen, die im Moment (durch uns) bedroht werden - wir können auch anders, ganz bestimmt! Und Gigi ist ebenfalls ein solcher Optimist, der immer an das Gute (an uns) geglaubt hat und es hoffentlich auch noch tut. Ich hoffe inständig, dass er es schafft, dass er wieder gesund wird, dass er wieder das Leben genießen kann, so wie die meisten von uns. Wie auch immer diese Geschichte enden wird, wir können einen Teil dazu beitragen, dass wir die Welt mit dem Namen "Gigi D'Agostino" ein klein wenig besser machen können. Ich für meinen Teil würde für dieses Projekt eine original verschweißte Gin Lemon EP CD und meine (ebenfalls original verschweißte) Hollywood-Vinyl dafür einsetzen, vielleicht sogar noch mehr! Wir sind immerhin das "GIGI FANS UNITED FORUM" - waren und werden immer mit unserem Star-DJ verbunden sein. Wer macht mit?!
