Passo Dark kicks ass! As others have stated somewhere, Gigi could now also release a full double CD compilation consisting of songs with Chuck D voice samples :D On the other hand this version of War (Rocky IV) sounds really old, like you guys said it must be one of the first interpretations from Gigi. I have to say I don't really like the synth :-) However I'm glad he shared this, not bad, I just rather prefer the Manafecca version :D One more interesting thing: I don't know if you guys noticed, but theres an interesting step which Gigi took this time on his new YouTube "Lento Violento" channel. From the very beginning one of the first things he does after uploading a new track/clip is that: - he disables the comment section (nowadays he doesn't) - he disables the like/dislike functions (he still does, BUT not for the new channel!) Its interesting, probably he's measuring the acceptance of the lento violento, if he really needs to create new materials in this style or not, what do you think? To me it really seems a bit like a statistic measurement this time :-)

:-S I just asked Time Records, and they told me the following about the release date, if its coming this week or not: "come dice il capitano "nelle prossime settimane ... Next week from sunday is this week, punto! :D It should be released by the end of this week. Still no info Maybe we should notify Time about Gigi's announcement that they better hurry up and release it asap? x')

Btw to me it still is crazy that within ONE WEEK there is going to be a new Gigi disc, and theres still - no cover image - no tracklist - no official announcement from Time Records (except of the one in last year's December, the one and only facebook post) - maybe tomorrow? - no info about 1 or 2 CD, mixed or non-mixed - no catalogue number, its not on ebay, not on any italian CD store, can be found nowhere except Gigi's mentions, and these GFU/IDP topics :-) In the past it haven't been like this... so strange to me... Gigi D'Agostino's Strange World :-D

@Phil: I'm hoping not for this version, but theres a point in what you say :D It just sounds too "harsh" for me... I'd rather prefer not the original, but the faster & bit harder version:

@hlennarz: Strongly doubt it, however it was a huge favourite of mine too. I don't think thats ever gonna be released. :-)

I was also thinking about checking SIAE, but couldn't find the public search site :D Thanks @kazin! Btw I don't really think that the above ones would be released on this disc, I have a totally another tracklist in my mind - given that the title is "Psico" dance, I guess Gigi & Luca are trying to hit the market now with their conception / re-interpretation of the "psy-trance" (psicodance) World. I have a Strong feeling that its gonna be released on the upcoming "Psico Dance" 🙂 It just has to be released... I've tried to write down the lyrics, but still have problems with a few words, what do you guys hear? cold like the wind blows cold... nothing's gonna touch me cause all i got to know is that i'm fine as long as i'll be mine nananananaa... heavenly... no matter how i feel i'm so proud of me of what i used to be everything i need is freedom to believe always... (thx to @ShadowMP for corrections) The first track in this mix: Filtered vocals (as much as it could be filtered out): always_cut_vocals.mp3

The outro is a bit funny :-) Almost feels like he lost the original project file / didn't want to edit it, so just modified the exported file (its the exact same version he played in Cammino) and added a "tunz tunz who cares" ending so it can be published as a full song, instead of a demo.. :-) But nevermind I like the track (until 2.49 :D) [if you're listening to it carefully, you can hear that the vocal is sampled with a lower volume level after this cut, so that last part is really just a bit clip he should have created nowadays, that is possibly just "mixed onto" the song] OFF: Btw Gigi really does have issues with intros/but mostly outros (maybe thats why we got so many mixed cd's nowadays - hope Psico Dance wouldn't be one of them), shouldn't we open a discussion about the most funny of them? I would say intro of Impressioni Di Settembre (Bozza Grezza) is what really makes me laugh all the time :-) Its a nice track otherwise, but that intro.. oh my gosh :D

But at least we can listen to Il Cammino Compilation and Lento Violento compilation in the meantime! (oh, wait...) :D By the way I don't see it as bad as of now, Gigi is definitely trying to keep us entertained with all the tracks he have uploaded to his YouTube channel(s), all these mixes, unfinished tracks, etc etc... definitely trying his best to share something until any "real" content is released. He only have problems with finishing things, I guess its because he can't cope very well with into/outros of the tracks, he must have lose affection in the meantime. Also possibly he doesn't really likes the mastering process of the creation progress, thats why Luca is also there to make everything sound like it really should :-) He's definitely better in it. Just listen to "No Words" on youtube with a hi-fi headphone, thats a disaster in every mean :) BTW why would he like releasing anything as an artist? There really not so much reason to do it: - it makes nothing to very little money, especially in this small segment of IDM/lento, especially compared to LIVE evenings - theres no way to see the faces of the people when listening to the tracks released - while you CAN see their faces and overwhelming reactions on live, jumping, crying, laughing etc, with a release its just total silence against lives - the mastering part and finishing songs is too boring and disappointing, after listening to your song for the 35-50th time in small details you really start to hate it :D (or just easily find no interest in it anymore) - it takes a tremendous work to release anything, lots of phone calls, lots of paperwork, calculations, meetings, etc - guess it is not Gigi's World - and he already told a lot of times that for most of the time he produces music only for himself, for his own joy, not for the World - etc. But after so much time an artist really have to release something to send a "ping" / "alive" signal to the world, to let them see that he's still working and alive (in Hungary they all still think he's died in a car accident in 2000, thats google's first hit after typing in Gigi D'Agostino's name lol). We'll see :D Hoping for the best this time.

@Badzu: but there is no point in announcing a new release saying its coming in the first weeks of 2018, then just let everyone forget about it at all and release it half year later. :D Then it would be better to just stay in silence until April/May, and tell the people that the disc is coming in two months. So yes, in this context it really should mean January by all means. (or start of February by last, if theres any delay - but as we know Gigi well, why would there be any delay :D)

Haha... I just got the information that the whole Time Records staff is still on holiday and their offices are closed, from Dec 22th - 7th January! :D So... I guess the new disc have to print out itself or maybe Gigi and Luca are burning the disc for us, this is the only way it could be released in the so-mentioned "first weeks" of this year/month (which should really mean the same) :D But don't be so pessimistic! Anything could happen!

@Marios7: I'm gently suggesting that Gigi clearly told its gonna be released in the "first weeks of January": - the very first week is the current one (Jan 1-7) /we can rule it that its gonna be released this week for sure/ - then the next "first week" is Jan 8-14. And we only have 11 days until this ending date (14th of January) - after 14th we cannot really talk about first week(s), but the half of the month, so...

Great news, even though I'm a bit sceptical on that January release :-) I think we should have much, MUCH more info if this album is really coming this soon - in the next few days there should be complete tracklist, record number/barcode, price, etc. Even if its a digital release we should see it over numerous sites in the next days (or even by now). Bortolotti said a few months ago in a FB post (on Media Records Evo page) that Gigi won't release anymore with his label, so it definitely won't be a Media Records disc. So what do you guys think would be the new record label? Maybe the one Elena Tanz & Stefano di Carlo used to release albums nowadays (Label Epoque)? Lets wait a few more days and I guess we'll see, if its really coming this soon :-) Hoping for the best. I also really DO hope that it will be available on Spotify and there'll be a Digital release as well (hoping for physical disc too), and that it really should be a 2 CD compilation (at least), NOT a mixed one! :)

Now he also does it in Italy... I just don't understand what could be the reason of his behaviour, is he sick? Is he afraid of something (panic disorder, anything else, who knows)? Why the hell would he do such things as cancelling a 21.000 EUR already paid show, where the stage is fully done and ready for concert. And he cancels it just in the last minutes, saying some "technical reasons" occured, sounds bullshit enough. He did it in Hungary as well, this summer - (brough down the show from his site hours before the event, though HE was already at Budapest [HU] by car - it was just a huge luck that I noticed that he brough down the live from the site, notified the organizers and thus they could still handle the problem by immediate action and somehow managed him to play...) He did it in Hungary in 2013 (Deja Vu) as well, leaving after 40 minutes instead of 1.5 hours... He does it all the time in other countries as well... I just can't understand... ( many of the peoples are saying that he don't even like to return the money back to the accounts... i really hope that this is not the real case... i wouldn't like to think of Gigi like that, although i know that he's not the best person ever existed, but that would just be too much...)
