  1. He says some interesting things about Gigi and Picotto in this interview :-) I cannot properly translate it all, just a few things which he talks about: - after forcing this question for quite a while, he states that Gigi's musical skills must have been better than Picotto's - he says when comparing their skills its enough to just go out to each of their live performances, and see the reaction of the crowd, that speaks for itself - on the other hand he thinks Gigi's morality level is lower than feet level (lol a bit hard statement!) [he told that we ALWAYS have to separate the ARTIST from the PEOPLE itself, then told this hard statement] - but it can be understood because he feels very well betrayed by Gigi (he uses this exact word), he feels left over, now that Gigi is about to release a new compilation with a new publisher, a "competitor" of Media Records, doing this after they've been previously working on it together for more than a year - he also mentions an idea of a "book" about being in the dance music scene for more than 30 years (it would be about Gigi? or about himself? couldn't understand....) - he told that the urban legend is true, "Bla Bla Bla" is entirely, he says "lets say 95%" done by Gigi only himself and noone else, it was already complete when he (Gigi) did show it to Bortolotti, only some really small arrangements were needed to let it be released (in another recent interview by Paolo Sandrini they were also talking about the same fact) - he also told that "Psico Dance" (he doesn't says its name, only referring it as "his new compilation") is going to have some new songs which could be heard on Gigi lives - and it is also going to contain new, "freshened" versions of some of his earlier tracks - they have returned a multiple times on Gigi vs Picotto's skills (the radio host seem to have return again and again to this question), to which Bortolotti said, Gigi was always the more independent of them, he (Bortolotti) was only his "light", a "path" and a "friend", who puts Gigi in the right mood to be able to create; while regarding Picotto, he says he was only a DJ at first in the beginnings, and Bortolotti teached him all the stuff needed to know to be a real artist, and led him on the way to be better in it Thats all I could understand (with the help of google, so feel free to correct!), a full and complete italian rescript would be pretty nice! :-) (someone here talking Italian?)
  2. But at least now we know more info abou.. oh wait! We still don't know anything at all even though its almost February now! PS.: Guess it doesn't have anything to do with Psico Dance, but still interesting. Too many cancelled lives
  3. Also a full version of this one: Would be so awesome!
  4. Gigi could also release full versions of "Magia" (from Suono Libero CD1) or "Paese In Festa", it would be so nice... Staying at Suono Libero, also the new and full version of "Mi Sta Sulla Cassa"
  5. @Erdbeer Wolf: You're absolutely right, and (as you can tell it by looking through my posts in this topic) I always rather stay positive even though all these not-so-positive signs which somehow always encounter his releases (and also live events, I remember some nasty things)... :-) But yeah, at least something seems to be happening after all these years, and thats definitely good! Something is in the air (even if it smells a tiny little bit :D). I simply share the same opinion what @Marios7 also says, that this kind of HUGE, we could say EPIC silence is just really odd to me. And what is it good for? It should be announced all over the world that finally the maestro is coming with new material once again to let more and more people buy this stuff (and calculate with the release much before it actually happens), but instead they're closing their mouth, like if nothing is happening at all... I mean even if "Dj LittlePeterSomeOneNewbie" announces a new album of his own, even it would get more hits all over the web with a proper publisher, than "Psico Dance" does at this moment :-D I'm just a bit disappointed by this. Right now only we know of this new release and noone else. Some other favourite artists of mine (e.g. Amy Macdonald, Depeche Mode) announces a disc and says an exact date half a year (or more!) before the actual release. And it comes out on this exact date, without any hassle. Okay maybe Gigi is not as "international" artist like Depeche Mode, but still I think he'd deserve much-much more attraction. :-) @Sottosopra: OMG, now thats what I call nice job! Here, grab a beer! Btw what you can tell from this list is that at least there are at least 2 week between announcing the infos (cover, tracklist) and between the actual release. That'd mean even more waiting for us.
  6. :D I guess u'r right @hlennarz. But still hope its not the same case now, theres too much announcement from Gigi's side out right there. However, some last bad news for this day (i won't bring one more today, i promise :D), is that the same guy on Facebook who previously told that he has been contacted by Media World (that they may know something more on Thursday /FB post here/ - which didn't happen), just posted that they told him ~9 hours ago that "Psico Dance" can't even be found in the list of their "upcoming releases" catalog. :-D Original post: click here
  7. That would be boring, Phil :-( I hate to just sit and wait!
  8. Maybe they were already printing out the discs, but Gigi called them "hey guys stop it right now! I just made a new l'amour toujours version that must be definitely on the new disc! stop printing and restart it all over again!". so they did. ... and then when we got closer and closer to the final release date, he made a new Bla Bla Bla version as well...
  9. Well yes, even there in Hungary its a relatively huge network (called MediaMarkt), and as far as I could remember you could always find each new Gigi release there up until now. Their answer surprised me as well... that they're not saying that bullshit "sorry no info"-thing, but rather saying they won't sell it at all. ... or maybe they're just trying to knock me off because its not the first time I asked them about this particular release (even though now I asked them on Facebook, and my first attempt was half a month ago by email) :D One good news: we're still waiting for an answer from IBS.it (one of the largest book/CD company in Italy) - they seem to be pretty cool, told me they're going to contact the distributor (that would be Time Records?) in advance to get some info, and get back to me as they know something. :-) Bah, can't believe another week did pass without any new info at all.
  10. Interesting... MediaWorld.it told me in private to my question that when is it going to be available: Here we are Tibor. We regret we won't be selling the product you are looking for. Have a nice day! Also I got the following info from self.it (you can find the Ieri e Oggi mix vol. 2, many other Gigi releases and also some Luca discs there): Purtroppo questo disco non è distribuito da noi (= "we are not going to distribute this record") ... what the actual fakk!?
  11. I asked Time Records if we need to wait more weeks or not: = "we're almost there" Damn it, they really like to be mysterious...
  12. Thats also what I think, however if we look at other forum topics like "Benessere" it is mentioned nowhere, yet it was mixed as well. One thing is for sure, I just can't believe that Gigi still is not aware of the EXACT release date of the disc, its just unreal :-) I think probably he should already know it, and he's just waiting until he'd tell us, or dunno. Such a thing doesn't really exists that he is still not notified by the record company about the release date of his own disc, even though we're maybe just a single week +- couple days before the actual release... Some examples: announcement | release date Benessere.......: 2004.10.22 . | 2004.11.26. Ieri e Oggi 1.... : 2010.05.06. | 2010.06.01. Psico Dance... : 2017.12.17. | 2018.??.??. (feel free to find other announcements, I was only able to find these two in hurry) So we can say that in most cases at least a WHOLE MONTH before the actual release he already knew the exact release date, now three scenario works: - either he really still doesn't know the date (maybe Time Records communication is not that good / some technical issues are making it harder to release / other issues) - he keeps it as a secret (for no reason, why would it be good for him lol, not even a good marketing strategy) - or we still have to wait some more weeks, because it won't come in the start of February at last, as Gigi stated previously
  13. Yeah, a single unmixed CD would work well for me too, wouldn't be that much disapponted in this way. :-) But no more mixes please, at least not this time after so many years.
  14. @Marios7: I shared the original source (which could be seen in a Facebook group called "Gigi D'Agostino Group Fans"), click here for my post, here you can find the link. First he posted the cleaned-down tracklist (in text format) inside this facebook page under his own name, THEN ~exactly one day later after many comments came from multiple peoples, he also posted a picture with timerec.it site in the background. Then some day back he deleted all of his posts regarding the tracklist. Its your own right to not trust unofficial informations too much (i actually don't really trust them either), but its still something, maybe these sites are going to be the one having a cover image, or initial price, anything after all - even before timerec would announce it officially on their page. It can easily happen. ( It did happen in the past some times - e.g. MediaRecords wasn't really announcing anything on their site at all, except in newsletters, back in the good ol' days :-) )
  15. No way, this time it really has to be released. Now we can only hope its not a mixed CD, and not a single disc one (that is my biggest actual fear)...
  16. Some news about mediaworld.it: "MediaWorld told me that there is not yet an official date, but their suppliers are preparing for the disk promotion! They called me for an informal booking! They told me to call on Thursday, that day they might have more official news!" (source) So maybe more info to come tomorrow...
  17. I think one mystery is solved, I did contact the original poster of the tracklist & image, here comes his answer:
  18. http://ispsicodanceoutyet.gq To make things a little bit easier to lookup... :-D
  19. Some people have too many time on their hands... :-) (it wouldn't be the first time this happening - back in time there were even "pre-leaked" downloadable "releases" of Gigi's new discs, containing fan-cut/mixed tracks which were thought to be released. They were properly named, cut to be extended in some cases, but most of the tracks were originated from live records/camminos/etc) Lets just wait and see :-)
  20. Just as @kazin says, its a 100% fake. Even if you look at such things like typo in "L'amour tojours" and say "oh that could happen", then if you look at it technically the "<HTML>CD1<BR>" is total bullshit, you don't write sites such a way - its not a valid html markup. :-) Even if the dude somehow made a way to "hack" the timerec.it site (he didn't), then the html markup wouldn't look like this, and especially wouldn't look like anything if the server's response is Forbidden. Btw if you'd really like to see the album's page, most probably one of these links gonna be the real thing sometime (given "15_477" is the latest release now): - http://www.timerec.it/it/15_478/album.htm - http://www.timerec.it/it/15_479/album.htm
  21. :D of course I didn't mean this (and ur right about Ieri e Oggi), I was only saying that I'm highly sceptical about Gigi should be using this exact project name this time - but who knows. Its just my assumption, based on the fact that most of the "Lento Violento Man" (not all!) tracks were co-produced by him and Mondello, and now that partnership is long-gone, thats all. Its like why would he release a new title on this album with the artist name "Officina Emotiva" or "DOS", when he don't really works with Diana & Pandolfi at all, or Thomas Prioli in the case of the latter, right? But sure, we can never know - until the official announcement. @Erdbeer Wolf: thats true, Greensleeve may also have a new title. But it just still smells fake to me. :-)
  22. What exactly is rubbish? In 2006-2007 they started collaborating. The end result is Lento Violento Man - La musica che pesta, on which you can listen to for example "OK Man", which is 100% Mondello style. :-) A lot of demos were then published on Mondello's myspace page, which were some pre-initial-states of La musica che pesta tracks. He is not listed anywhere as an author on the disc (well, we have seen this happen before), but everyone knows that he also collaborated Gigi in many of these tracks. Some topics to read: http://foxatosforum.forumfree.it/?t=16522848&st=105 https://www.facebook.com/Roba.Da.Dj/posts/127301027311588 Daniele Mondello - Caloria [alias "Reparto Presse"] (now deleted by 3rd party requests - hmm hmm :D) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKcZ9dqPIQY Also here on GFU: https://www.gfu-community.de/topic/22597-wwwdjmondellocom/?tab=comments#comment-570078
  23. @vaki: Please be aware that its most probably a FAKE list, written by a fan more than one day ago (01.20 12:32), in a questinable Facebook Group. :D See the picture below. Link to the original post: https://www.facebook.com/groups/GroupFansDag/permalink/1000309626773935/?comment_id=1000711223400442&comment_tracking={"tn"%3A"R"} Some things to be noticed which can easily make you see it can't really be the real tracklist: - No Greensleeves on the whole tracklist - gonna be released 100000000% (even advertised by Gigi itself in the Psico Dance video, and much earlier in multiple mixes made by him! Also its a must have, you can tell.) - Too much Circo Uonz - no way they're all gonna be released, they're not all album material :-) Some nice demos, but not for release. - Lento Violento Man - it WAS Gigi & Mondello's project, I don't really think that Gigi is going to start to release track under this old project name once again, as they don't really work together nowadays - CD2/20. Mille Pensieri - again, not an album material. nice demo and all, but not a track which definitely should been released on a new disc like this, especially called Psico dance. I don't think this fits in the list. - Hot Like The Sun - not gonna be released, for sure. Believe me, just do. - etc. Waiting for the proper one. We can't even really be sure that its definitely gonna be 2 CD's, it was mentioned nowhere at all. Next week there should be something. Just... something more info!
  24. They say they're already delivering it in some special countries
